Hillside World Academy (HWA) looks forward to welcoming new students and parents to our community at any time, and from any place. The academic year starts in August and ends in July, but we maintain an open-minded, non-discriminatory position, accepting applications year-round, from all over the world, and for students aged 3 to 18 years old.

HWA’s Office of Admissions will arrange for an interview and/or entrance test ( G7 and Above ) for applicants to ensure appropriate grade and class placement. The entrance test comprises a math test, English and Chinese proficiency test. Applicants will need to sit for the English test if they do not meet the required standard of English—that is, a score of 4.5 for the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) and/or a score of 400 for the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). Please note that the results of the test(s) are absolute, and appeals will not be considered.
The review of applications will take about 1 to 3 working days, and if approved, a Letter of Offer will be sent to welcome students and parents to the HWA community. Before making any other payment to HWA, students, parents or guardians will first need to sign the Committee for Private Education in Singapore’s Standard PEI Contract, which can found in a PDF here .
