Bright Hill Evergreen Home

HWA G8 and G9 students went to visit the elderly at Bright Hill Evergreen Home yesterday. The afternoon programme began with ice-breaking session followed by a birthday party for 6 residents who celebrated their birthday this month. We brought a cake and some delicious delicacy to share with the elderly. Later on, we teamed up with the elderly to show our creativity in arts.

Youth For Causes

Speakers from YMCA led by Mr David Lee were at HWA this morning to share with students their latest project called Youth For Causes. Students were invited to participate in this project by forming a team of 4 and identifying the need in their community that deserves assistance and help. Students will initiate plans and execute actions to help the target groups.

Our neighbour - PERTAPIS

HWA students, Jingyi, handed over donation (SGD 430) from HWA family to PERTAPIS officer. The donation is consisted of:

SGD 250 from HWA in support of the decoration of Christmas Tree with accessories designed by students;:

SGD 180 from the souvenirs designed and packaged by students sold at Christmas Sale @ HWA and the Serangoon Year-end Carnival organised by Serangoon CC.:
