Green Club visit to Singapore Botanic Gardens, a UN World Heritage Site
The Green Club had a great trip to the Singapore Botanic Gardens on 13 September. The trip began with a visit to the famous Orchid Garden, where students were amazed by the many different varieties of orchids. After that, the Green Club visited the Evolution Garden, where we learned about the earliest signs of life on planet Earth. Walking through the 1.5-hectare display area, students could see how the most primitive plants have evolved and adapted through the ages, to become complex life forms that are crucial to the survival of all life today.
