We warmly welcome Korean students to participate in HWA International School’s cultural exchange program. During their visit, they will have the opportunity to attend educational lectures and explore our campus.
The educational lectures will cover various aspects of our school, including our vision, mission, and unique educational philosophy. We also emphasize the benefits of our International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum, showcasing its global perspective and rigorous academic standards. Korean students showed great interest and enthusiasm in understanding the HWA curriculum during the lectures, and they are looking forward to the campus tour that follows. As a token of our appreciation for their visit, we prepared gift bags for each student.
The tour started with a brief introduction to the school buildings, including the cafeteria and auditorium located on the third floor1. We then proceeded to the facilities area, showcasing the venues for co-curricular activities (CCAs) such as tennis and swimming, among others1. In addition to outdoor activities, we also introduced a variety of other co-curricular activities such as chess, martial arts, 3D design and printing, and the guzheng, which are highly popular among students.
During the tour, we also showcased well-equipped classrooms for student learning and discussions. Classrooms displayed student works and project presentations from the IB curriculum, allowing Korean students to gain a better understanding of the teaching styles and content at HWA. Furthermore, we visited the science labs, art room, and music room on the lower floor.
At the end of the event, we expressed our gratitude to the translator who accompanied us throughout the journey and appreciated the engaging conversation with the school representative. Through this comprehensive tour, we aimed to showcase our educational offerings and provide opportunities for students to explore international education. We strongly believe that exposing students to a variety of experiences and activities helps them discover their interests and talents and promotes personal growth. We look forward to future collaborations and exchanges with educational teams from different countries to further enrich the field of global education.
- The facilities belong to the landlord, NTU, and are shared with HWA. If students wish to use them outside of regular school hours, an application should be submitted to the school to confirm the availability.
