HWA recently organized an enlightening career pathways seminar, also known as college application workshop, to help our 10th to 12th-grade students better navigate the university admission process. The event aimed to equip students with comprehensive knowledge on applying to universities, showcasing the importance of International Baccalaureate (IB) scores, as well as offering a fun and engaging personality test to assist students in discovering their ideal career paths.
The workshop commenced with an informative session led by experienced college admissions officers, who shared valuable insights on the college application process. Students were provided with essential advice on preparing an outstanding application, including tips on crafting compelling personal statements, showcasing extracurricular achievements, and securing strong letters of recommendation.
The focus then shifted to the significance of IB scores in college applications, Emphasize the requirements of IB scores in the application to top-tier universities globally.
However, the workshop did not solely focus on academic excellence. Recognizing the importance of aligning personal interests and strengths with future career paths, the school introduced an interactive personality test. Students enthusiastically participated in the test, which evaluated their traits, preferences, and aptitudes to guide them towards suitable academic and career choices. The results provided valuable insights into each student’s unique strengths and gave them a clearer understanding of the fields they may excel in.
HWA International School continues to prioritize the holistic development of its students, ensuring they are well-prepared for their educational journey beyond high school.
