HWA International School welcomed back its students with great excitement as a new semester kicked off. The school campus was filled with eager faces, ready to embrace new challenges and make the most of their educational journey. To ensure a smooth transition and facilitate a successful start, the school arranged three comprehensive orientation sessions for students from PYP, MYP, and DP programs.
Each orientation session catered to the specific needs and requirements of students at every phase of their education. The Primary Years Programme (PYP) orientation introduced younger students to the school’s environment and provided them with information on the upcoming academic year.
The Middle Years Programme (MYP) orientation focused on familiarizing the students with the structure of the MYP, including the significance of the Personal Project, criteria for subject selection, and the various assessments they will encounter throughout the year.
For the Diploma Programme (DP) students, the orientation aimed to provide them with a clear understanding of the DP curriculum, including subject choices, Extended Essay requirements, and the rigorous academic expectations they will face. Special attention was given to enabling DP students to set goals and develop effective study habits that would maximize their potential.
As the new semester unfolds, HWA International School is eagerly looking forward to witnessing the growth and achievements of our students. It is a time of hope and excitement as challenges are embraced and moments of triumph celebrated. With the support of dedicated educators and a thriving student community, HWA International School continues to empower students to flourish and reach for their dreams.
