HWA proudly wrapped up its first holiday program of the year — the Young Writers & Speakers Camp, held from April 7 to 11, welcoming enthusiastic students aged 6 to 12 for a week of immersive, hands-on learning.
The five-day camp was thoughtfully designed to nurture creativity, communication, and self-expression. Students engaged in a wide range of activities, including storytelling, drama, public speaking, journalism, and podcast production. Each day introduced a new theme and inquiry-based question that guided students to think critically and communicate meaningfully.
From brainstorming story ideas and acting out skits, every child had the opportunity to explore different forms of communication in a fun and supportive environment. The program focused not only on enhancing language skills but also on building confidence, teamwork, and presentation abilities.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to all participating students, parents, and staff for making this camp a memorable and meaningful experience. Stay tuned for more exciting programs to come during the next school break!
