IB PYP Evaluation Team Visits

Dear Students, Parents and Guardians,

As you know last week our school hosted the PYP evaluation team visits. It most definitely was a nerve-racking experience for the entire PYP team, as any scrutiny of processes, and collection of evidence would be. However we were also very welcoming of the process, as any recommendations will only help us to become an even better school. The official report will arrive in four to six weeks.

The parents interviewed certainly did their part to project a very positive image of the school. We thank you for taking valuable time out of your schedule to come and speak with the team. The group of parents invited did not represent the PSG, and were a very diverse group representing different grade levels and different backgrounds.

This week we will get back to giving all our attention to unit 5, for most classes, and unit 4 for some. The grade 6 class is working very hard on their PYP exhibition and we will be hosting the PYP exhibition on the 12th and 13th of May. Please find attached the invitation for this event, and the grade 6 would very much appreciate your presence and encouragement. For many it is the culmination of a long PYP journey, some of our current cohort started their schooling in CNIS at Kindergarten or Grade 1.

We will have photo taking this week and next week, the schedules have been sent to you. We will notify you if there are any revisions. Otherwise, please ensure that your children wear their best set of uniforms to school on the day of the photo taking.
